Wassup Guys!
Oregano oil hits acne from so many angles its unreal.
It is widely accepted that the cause of many forms of acne stems from bacteria, and so antibiotics are prescribed to patients (such as oxytetracycline or trimethoprim, both antibiotics i have used). They work for a period of time but the bacteria become resistant and the acne comes back.
The main selling point is that Oregano Oil contains Carvacrol and Thymol which are both antibiotics that inhibit the growth of bacteria. Not only have they been found to be as effective as standard antibiotics such as penicillin, bacteria do not develop resistance also![2] Which means it can be used effectively for long periods of time*
Oil of Oregano is:
Anti-biotic[1]
Anti-fungal [1][3]
Anti-parasitic [1]
Anti-inflammatory [1]
Anti-oxidant [1]
An immune stimulant [1][4]
Contains Rosmarinic acid and Naringin that both inhibit cancer cells. [1]
Reduces Cholesterol[1]
Even more benefits proved in this study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19075694
Acne can be caused by a wide variety of factors, and so is generally very difficult to address the root cause without trial and experimentation. However, Oil of Oregano has such a prominent effect on candida[3], SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth), inflammation, parasites, and the immune system[4] that it is extremely likely that it will have a very positive effect on your skin and health in general.
How do i take it?
The benefits of Oil of Oregano are insane and are very likely to benefit your acne substantially, you can take it in drop form from a bottle (cheaper) or capsules (easier).
It is very beneficial to take it on an empty stomach also, otherwise you may experience oregano burps which are never nice.

Bottle form:
Once you buy the bottle you will soon realise that the oil is very pungent and produces a burning sensation if not mixed with anything, SO you must mix it with something that will reduce this, don’t come crying to me if you didn’t take my advice! ;)
I take 3 drops every morning mixed with a little Aloe Vera Juice and small amount of water. This seems to do the trick.
However, many people dilute the oil with a teaspoon of coconut oil or olive oil and that seems to work very well also.

Capsule Form:
Generally much easier and for those who can’t be arsed messing about this is probably the best option for you, however it is generally more expensive. Follow the dosage on the bottle, start small and work your way up.
Safety!
I hope the information about how to take it hasn’t put you off so far! It is a very powerful product and so must be handled with care.
I must also say to CONSULT A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL FIRST as it can have some side effects such as reducing blood flow and reducing iron absorption, as well as reducing some of the friendly bacteria in your gut.
However i have been using it for ages without any consultation and have witnessed NONE of these side effects. In my opinion the benefits outweigh the potential risks a hundred fold and in my opinion Oregano Oil is 100x safer than antibiotics, which are horrific for your body.
